Happy Diwali everyone:) May your life be as colourful and shimmering as the lights of Diwali.

Another last-minute mix and match outfit for Diwali. So I was invited for a Diwali dinner and this is what I ended up wearing. A palazzo with a crop top and dupatta. I was so happy with the outcome.
My friends assumed it as a saree. It is such an easy last-minute outfit which looks so elegant.

Go dig out your closet to mix and match palazzo and top with dupatta.

I am not the one who owns a lot of ethnic wear. So, I usually end up mixing and matching whatever I have, to create an ethnic look. Today was one of those days. Since I was the one who initiated ethnic wear in the office on Diwali occasion, I had to wear something that looks ethnic.  White kurti and Black Kurthi are something that helps you big time while creating last-minute ethnic outfits.

After a number of trial and error, I ended up wearing basic white Kurti with a colourful dupatta and pink leggings. Kolapuri sandals and few accessories made it festive.
I was waiting to sport this bag ever since I got it from Bali. So, I just went for it. I love how this bag goes with both Indian and western outfits.

Lately, the weather in Bangalore is so pleasant. Finally, I can pull out my sweaters and jackets.
This mustard sweater is one of my favourites. I always end up wearing this whenever it's chilly outside.
I wore it with a black and white dress which I stitched. Wearing a sweater underneath the sleeveless dress or over the dress makes the dress wearable to the office and also looks so chic.

I just wore it with a brown braided belt, brown loafers and a jute bag which I picked up from Bali.  This bag goes with everything and I have been obsessed with it.

Happy layering...!

I had this full-length dress which I wore a lot and then got bored with it. That's when I realised that the fabric was too colourful to be a full-length dress.
So, I converted into a circle skirt and I'm so glad I did it...!
I love wearing it now with a basic white shirt.

I love having colours in my outfit whether its a clothing, bag, footwear or accessories. Maybe that's something that has got to do with me being an Indian. Indian culture is known for its use for vibrant colours. Also, bright colours make your day cheerful.

Paired the skirt and shirt with some basic kholapuri sandals and some street style accessories and I was all happy:)
